tvN’s “Captivating the King” experienced a surge in viewership after broadcasting four episodes over a single weekend, reaching its peak ratings thus far!

On February 11, the romantic drama featuring Jo Jung Suk and Shin Se Kyung aired two consecutive episodes. Departing from its usual weekend-only schedule, the series adapted its airing pattern for the Lunar New Year holiday. This weekend, it showcased one episode on Friday, another on Saturday, and two episodes on Sunday.

According to Nielsen Korea, the most recent episode of “Captivating the King” achieved an average nationwide rating of 6.7 percent, setting a new all-time high for the drama in terms of viewership.

In the meantime, JTBC’s “Doctor Slump” experienced a slight uptick, achieving an average nationwide rating of 3.9 percent for its sixth episode.

Concluding the weekend, “Live Your Own Life” maintained its dominant position as Sunday’s top-rated program, climbing to a nationwide average of 18.3 percent for the night. Both KBS 2TV’s “Korea-Khitan War” and TV Chosun’s “My Happy Ending” were on hiatus for the Lunar New Year holiday.
