Stray Kids’ Lee Know Inducted into the Bob Pierce Honor Club!
On February 28, World Vision revealed the induction of Stray Kids’ Lee Know into the prestigious Bob Pierce Honor Club.
The Bob Pierce Honor Club comprises significant contributors, named after World Vision’s founder, Bob Pierce. Individuals who have donated over 100 million won (approximately $75,000) and actively advocate for global issues, championing the ethos of compassion and sharing, are appointed as members of this esteemed club.
In January, Lee Know generously donated 100 million won to World Vision’s global food crisis response project, aiding children in the most impoverished nations grappling with food shortages exacerbated by rapid climate change. Last February, he extended his support to emergency relief efforts following significant earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. Moreover, Lee Know has been a steadfast sponsor of children abroad since 2014, currently supporting four children in Korea and overseas.
Lee Know expressed, “I’m hopeful that my assistance can make a positive difference in the lives of children both in Korea and around the world. I’m committed to reflecting on how I can contribute further from my position and pay forward the love and support I’ve been fortunate to receive.”
World Vision Chairman Cho Myung Hwan stated, “Lee Know’s unwavering dedication and support for vulnerable children have earned him the distinction of becoming the youngest member of the Bob Pierce Honor Club. We are committed to amplifying Lee Know’s compassionate impact through World Vision and will strive harder to ensure that his benevolent influence reaches far and wide.”
